While Hardigg Cases offers the widest range of standard OTS [Commercial Off-The-Shelf] sizes and configurations in the container industry, many scientific, industrial, military, and commercial equipment systems require a custom made case. When our selection of Single-Lid , Rackmount , and ProRack ™ cases doesn’t match your needs exactly, Hardigg engineers will custom design a case or box that does.

In fact, this expertise is one of Hardigg’s most valuable assets. Hardigg’s custom-designed transport cases and foam cushioning systems are the best anywhere. Our CAD/CAE-equipped engineers work with clients to create and produce the ideal case for any special equipment or application. With an in-house mold-making machine shop capable of turning out molds up to 17 feet long, we’ve yet to meet a custom case requirement we can’t handle.

Equipment that is particularly sensitive to shock or vibration or which has uniquely shaped components may need special packaging considerations and case configurations to be held securely during transport. And shipping through extreme climatic environments can pose an additional set of challenges for any transport container. If you’re shipping sensitive equipment of any sort, or delicate payloads, you can’t afford to compromise on the container or cushioning system.So, you may nee a custom case from Hardigg.

Hardigg custom cases meet or exceed ATA compliance, and can be made compliant with EIA and MIL-SPECs. We test cases for shock, temperature, and vibration performance in our own environmental test laboratory. Our reusable specialty cases are used to protect and transport command, control, and communications systems, and to ship innumerable types of computer, medical, electronic, testing, trade-show, and military equipment. They are also used as deployable mobile workstations.

DECK CASES
If you’re transporting your $100,000 gyroscope from coast to coast, even relatively slight turbulence or lurches could cost you dearly. You need a shipping case that will protect such big-ticket sensitive instruments from the normal perils of transport: shocks, jostling, vibration, drops, dust, and climate extremes.

Deck cases are manufactured for such applications. Your instruments are secured with a nylon strapping system to a tough aluminum deck, and this deck is suspended on elastomeric shock mounts. These deck cases are engineered to meet rigorous MIL-SPECS . Hardigg will custom-design a case to your requirements.
